Klimaoprema’s preferred method for planning a new facility is based on a Building Information Modeling (BIM) approach. BIM is our shared infrastructure for working, sharing, and innovating across our Engineering projects. Our 3D database systems support our delivery in a simple and agile way. We implement one shared toolset that gives us the ability to share work with all our offices around the globe. All relevant building data are digitally recorded, compiled, and shared with all our offices, as well as with our partners. A geometrical representation of a building is shown through a virtual federated model, and the information and space data are retained in a live database.
A BIM model can contain information and data on design, construction, logistics, operation, maintenance, budgets, schedules, and much more. Information created in one project phase can be passed on to the next one for further development or to be reused.
By using our standards and experience in working with our customers, we establish customer-specific BIM requirements for every single project, defining the scope and the benefits of using BIM. These benefits are enhanced when the process is considered as a whole and the information/data requirements are coordinated. Production processes are taking place in two locations, in Samobor, and in Nova Gradiška, both in Croatia, EU. Our production lines were developed through a collaboration of Klimaoprema’s experts and renowned European manufacturers. The manufacturing processes run on a number of highly efficient, robotized production lines and CNC machines, granting the shortest manufacturing times and quality levels in accordance with international standards. Our production lines are arranged so that the raw material, mostly sheet metal in rolls, moves fast through individual operations, without internal transport, which results in a very short manufacturing time. Furthermore, the amount of waste is reduced to a minimum. Such concept of the manufacturing process arranged on a surface area of approx. 20.000 m², with a newly constructed large high-rack warehouse, provides manufacturing capacities that can satisfy even the most demanding customer requirements. The entire manufacturing process is monitored by our MES software to ensure a highly efficient flow of information in order to decrease downtime, reduce waste and maximize OEE.
The production line for cleanroom panels uses colored sheet metal plates, which require extremely careful handling and top quality control of both products and the process. A panel is finished every two minutes, and our production capacity is estimated at more than 100 m² of cleanroom panels per hour. Palletizing is performed by a robot with a capacity of 700 kg, selected and designed in cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Zagreb. Our robotized cleanroom panel production line is one of the most modern such lines in the world.
